Specified Skilled Worker Immigration Applications

For Specified Skilled Worker No. 1 applications, it is necessary to review the skills test, Japanese language test, employment contract, support plan, accepting organization’s eligibility, and industry-specific documents.

Service Fee Description
Certificate of Eligibility for SSW No. 1 JPY 132,000〜 Application for bringing a Specified Skilled Worker from overseas. We review the skills test, Japanese language test, employment contract, support plan, accepting organization documents, and industry-specific documents.
Change of Status to SSW No. 1 JPY 132,000〜 Application for a foreign national already in Japan to change status to Specified Skilled Worker No. 1. We check the current residence status, residence history, planned employment start date, and any job change issues.
Extension of Period of Stay for SSW No. 1 JPY 88,000〜 Application to renew the period of stay for Specified Skilled Worker No. 1. We review continued employment, support implementation status, accepting organization status, and industry-specific documents.
Multiple applicants at the same time 20% discount from the second applicant If the applications are for the same company, same industry, and same timing, and company-side documents can be shared, a 20% discount may apply from the second applicant.

Outsourced Support by a Registered Support Organization

Registered Support Organization work is not merely document preparation. It is ongoing support and recordkeeping to help Specified Skilled Worker No. 1 workers live and work stably in Japan in cooperation with the accepting company.

Basic monthly outsourced support JPY 22,000〜 / worker / month Standard monthly support fee for Specified Skilled Worker No. 1 workers. The fee varies depending on the support scope, industry, interview method, language, location, and number of workers.
Initial setup and support system preparation JPY 55,000〜 We help organize the company’s support system, support manager and support staff roles, outsourcing agreement, support plan, internal communication flow, and document management method.
Life orientation JPY 33,000〜 / worker Fee for conducting legally required life orientation. The fee depends on the language, method, duration, and required preparation.
Regular interviews and consultation handling Included in monthly fee or quoted separately Depending on the outsourced support scope, regular interviews, consultation handling, and accompaniment to public offices may be included or quoted separately.

Periodic Reports and Document Management

Quarterly periodic report preparation JPY 33,000〜 / time Support for preparing and checking periodic reports regarding acceptance status, activity status, and support implementation status. The fee varies depending on the number of workers, companies, and support scope.
Ad hoc notification support JPY 22,000〜 / case Support for notifications required due to employment condition changes, resignation, disappearance, change of support outsourcing contract, or difficulty continuing acceptance.
Support records and interview record management JPY 22,000〜 / month Organization and review of interview records, consultation records, support implementation records, life orientation records, and related materials.
Compliance-style check for RSO / accepting company JPY 55,000〜 We review support implementation status, contracts, ledgers, notifications, and retained documents, and identify issues for improvement.

Company-Side Support and Consulting

Consultation on accepting Specified Skilled Workers JPY 6,600 / 60 minutes Consultation on the system, acceptance possibility, eligible industry, required documents, support structure, and schedule.
Acceptance eligibility / industry applicability check JPY 33,000〜 We review the business, job duties, eligible field, council membership, required licenses, and other matters to assess acceptance possibility.
Employment contract and working conditions review JPY 33,000〜 We review the employment contract, wage level, working hours, job duties, and balance with comparable Japanese workers.
Coordination with sending organizations and referral partners Quotation required We help organize the division of roles and communication flow among overseas sending organizations, referral partners, Registered Support Organizations, and accepting companies.

Immigration Fees

Immigration fees are required when a change of status or extension of period of stay is approved. The amount may differ depending on online application or counter receipt.

Language Support

Translation and Interpretation

If interpretation, translation, or native-language support is required, additional costs may apply.

Actual Costs

Transportation and Postage

Actual expenses for company visits, worker interviews, accompaniment to authorities, postal delivery, and Letter Pack services are charged separately.

Inquiry

Please send us the company name, industry, target field, number of workers, nationality, current status, and desired support scope through the dedicated inquiry form.

Initial Review

We review acceptance possibility, industry applicability, employment conditions, support structure, required documents, and schedule.

Scope and Quotation

We organize the required scope, including immigration applications, outsourced support, periodic reports, interviews, and record management, and issue a quotation.

Contract and Retainer Payment

For immigration application work, 50% of the professional fee is generally required as a retainer. Payment terms for outsourced support are determined depending on the contract.

Application and Support Start

If an immigration application is required, we handle the application work. After employment starts, we provide support, recordkeeping, and reporting according to the support plan.

Payment Terms

  • For immigration application work, 50% of the professional fee is generally payable as a retainer upon engagement.
  • The remaining balance is payable upon approval or before delivery of documents.
  • Immigration fees, postage, translation fees, transportation costs, and other actual expenses are charged separately.
  • Monthly support fees are payable in advance or billed monthly depending on the contract.
  • Additional work outside the agreed support scope, accompaniment, interpretation, or urgent response will be quoted separately.
  • Overdue unpaid amounts, excluding prepaid portions, may be subject to late payment damages at an annual rate of 14.6%.

Important Notes

  • Under the Specified Skilled Worker system, accepting companies have various legal and practical obligations. Outsourcing support to a Registered Support Organization does not eliminate the company’s own responsibility.
  • Industry-specific requirements, council membership, permits, employment conditions, social insurance, taxes, and support implementation records may affect applications and renewals.
  • Our fees do not guarantee approval, renewal, recruitment results, or the absence of future compliance issues. Outcomes depend on individual facts, submitted documents, and examination by the authorities.
