Wise Payment Option Is Now Available for Overseas Clients

Tommy’s Legal Service can now accept Wise transfers in certain cases, making payment easier for overseas clients, foreign companies, recruiters, and partner organizations involved in Japan immigration and foreign employment matters.

About payment by Wise

Wise is widely used for international transfers and multi-currency payments. For clients outside Japan, overseas companies, recruiters, and sending organizations, Wise may be simpler than traditional international bank transfers.

Depending on the case, Tommy’s Legal Service may accept payment by Wise for immigration applications, status of residence matters, foreign employment support, Specified Skilled Worker matters, and Registered Support Organization-related services.

Overseas Clients

Foreign nationals outside Japan

Wise may be useful for clients who are applying for a visa, Certificate of Eligibility, family-related status, Business Manager status, or other immigration procedures from outside Japan.

Companies

Foreign companies and Japanese employers

Wise may be considered where a company outside Japan or a Japanese employer needs to pay professional fees for immigration support or foreign employment procedures.

SSW / RSO

Recruiters and sending organizations

For Specified Skilled Worker matters, RSO support, and coordination with overseas sending organizations, the payment method will be confirmed case by case.

Processing / handling fee

When payment is made by Wise, a 5% handling / processing fee is generally added.

Even when Wise is used, the actual amount received by our office may vary depending on exchange rates, transfer fees, the payment route, and the receiving amount. For this reason, when Wise, Stripe, PayPal, or similar payment methods are used, a 5% handling / processing fee is generally added.
