Revision of fees (Immigration Services Agency)
Display note: Fees shown below are professional fees per applicant (excluding tax). Japanese consumption tax will be added.
- Simultaneous filing discount for work-related cases: If two or more work-related applications are requested at the same time for the same company, the professional fee for the 2nd and each subsequent applicant is 20% off.
- Main examples: Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services, Highly Skilled Professional, Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) 1, and Certificate of Authorized Employment.
- As a rule, this applies only to same-company, concurrently handled cases. Business Manager, spouse-related cases, Dependent, Permanent Residence, and Naturalization are generally excluded.
- The discount applies only to the professional fee, not to immigration fees or actual costs.
- Depending on complexity, additional documents, past status history, or job changes, a custom quotation may apply and the discount may not be available.

Public Document Collection Support (Optional)
In immigration procedures, public documents such as residence certificates, taxation certificates, and family register documents may be required. Our office can collect these documents on behalf of clients as an optional support service.

- The fees for collecting these public documents are not included in our standard immigration professional fees.

Urgent Handling
- Target: filings that should be submitted within approximately 3 business days
- Surcharge: +10% of the professional fee
- Minimum JPY 5,000 / maximum JPY 30,000
- Immigration fees and actual costs (revenue stamps, postage, translation fees, etc.) are not included in the surcharge.
- Please note that we cannot guarantee shorter examination periods. The urgent handling timeline starts only after all required documents are complete.
- If a discount applies (e.g. simultaneous applications), the 10% surcharge is calculated on the discounted amount.
Counter Filing / Attendance (Accompaniment)
- Yokohama Immigration Services Bureau: + JPY 5,000 per visit (travel / actual costs separate)
- Waiting time surcharge: over 60 minutes → + JPY 6,000 per hour (excl. tax)
- Night / holiday handling: + JPY 10,000 per visit (excl. tax)

Payment Terms & Cancellation Policy
- This price list may be changed without notice. The final amount will be shown in a formal quotation.
- Professional fees may vary depending on the complexity of the case, filing office, and availability of required documents. If additional work is necessary, we will inform you in advance.
- Immigration fees are revenue stamps paid to the government. Actual costs include postage, certificate issuance fees, translation fees, bank transfer fees, etc., and are paid separately.
- Retainer: A retainer of 50% of the quoted amount is required upon engagement. As a rule, we begin work after payment is confirmed.
- Remaining balance & additional fees: As a rule, the remaining balance is finalized at the time you receive the approval notice / Residence Card (etc.). Payment is due within 7 days from the invoice date.
- If payment is not made by the due date, a late payment charge at the rate of 10% per annum will accrue on the unpaid amount from the day after the due date until full payment is completed, calculated on a 365-day daily basis.
- If the application is denied: The remaining balance is generally not required. However, immigration fees and actual costs (revenue stamps, postage, translation fees, etc.) and any costs already incurred are non-refundable.
- Re-application: If you wish to reapply, a new 50% retainer is required. The quotation may change depending on what documents can be reused.
- Client-initiated cancellation / withdrawal: Whether before or after filing, we will settle the fee based on the progress of work. The retainer is generally non-refundable, and additional work / costs already incurred may be billed separately.
- Missing documents / no response: If required documents or confirmations are not provided for a substantial period, we may suspend the case. When restarting, schedule readjustment and an additional retainer may be required.
